In a nut shell: A cute little old 1926 craftman that has been well-cared for over the years. The basement has been finished to include 2 bedrooms and a full bath down stairs, and the upstairs retains a lot of the home original character. One large upstairs bedroom in the attic. Plumbing, electrical, appliances etc are all new, so it lives a lot like a newer house, but with a lot more charm. Quiet, walkable neighborhood with a real Seattle feel. Short bus ride (or drive) to University of Washington or downtown. We're actually the ONE place I know of in the greater northwest that is not within walking distance of a Starbucks, but we have 2 local coffee shops instead. Hurrah!


About us/our needs: Two professional adults and one lazy old dog. We live lightly and are pretty handy around the house. I work from home so I'd need room for a cozy home office and fast, reliable internet. My husband will be at the Naval War College so we're looking for something that's conveniently located for him, as well as walking distance to good coffee and restaurants. That pretty much sums up our situation.

We live just off State road 41, A few miles from the highway, twenty min to Englewood beach and 30 to Venice Breach. We are two minutes from Home Depot, Wal-mart, Lowes, many restaurants and mall. Yet we are in a country setting with woods across the street and on the side of our home.
We are looking for something similar can be smaller just clean and in a safe neighborhood. Warwick would be great but anywhere is fine. We were looking to swap for the winter, 6 months or even a year. if your thinking that Southwest Florida is the place for you here's your chance to find out without having to buy or sell.
